I offer consulting services for aspiring writers, continuing writers, and writers who are changing their genre or field.

I am not posting prices on here, because the difference of what I am offering you, and other services is that we will come up with my rates based on your individual needs.

My goal is to make this a unique experience for you and really tailor it to you.

Ah the dreaded query letter that most writers are afraid of but all of us need.

Your query letter is your introduction to the world as a writer.

There are many different types of query letters and yet, they all have simialrities.

Does your query say what you want it to?

Does it have the right formatting?

Does it have the right information?

I am great at writing queries because I love writing them.

I look at it like an audition-a chance to perform, or in this case, talk about my project.

The cold hard fact is this, a query is very difficult to write for many reasons.

I would love to help you with your query. For years I have been told to run a query class and while I could do that, I think it's better to work one on one with someone.

As well, there are countless books and recources on the query letter which I can point you too if you want more in depth training on the art of the query.

Taking The First Step: First of all we will talk via email or phone about what you have and where you are and then make a plan of action. That may be me simply recommending you sign up for workshops, or join a writer group, or it may be us working together further to get you ready.

Reading: I will read your work. The rate will depend on the type:

half hours, hour longs, what draft this is and or chapters from novels, or short stories.

I will give you feedback and suggest higher levels of script consultants and or worshops and classes you can take before submission based on what I have read.

I am not an editor, but can definitely point you to the right person based on where you are in your writing. I will tailor the rate to match what you need.

Feedback: I am happy to give you feedback on specifics, or I can lead you to professionals who are leaders in your area specifically depending on your budget you may or may not be in a place to be able to afford some of the great services from some of the top consultants in the businss. This is information that I can help you make an informed decision on. There are many of these consultants who teach classes and seminars that will help someone on a budget out. I will also guide you to the right person.

Your agent is your ticket to the world of writing should you choose to get one.

Some people don't use them, and some do. If you aren't sure about this, we need to talk and figure it out.

I have heard so many people say, "I would get an agent, but I wouldn't even know where to start." I know where to start. I am here to help you.

There are many different types of agents out there and the biggest mistake people do is choose the wrong one and then they get discouraged. I can help you find your right place in the agency world.

Don't let them scare you and remember you are the talent-they need you just as much as you need them. It's a partnership for you both.

I have spent a long time collecting this info and have access to agents through many different sources. While I can't promise you will get representation, I am happy to give you contacts of specific agents who are looking for writers in your area, whatever that may be.

This is time consuming and if you don't know where to look, you can waste hours of your time and make no progress.
